Samuel Crosby, MD, specializes in orthopedic surgery of the hand and upper extremity for adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Crosby currently sees patients at Brentwood Surgery Center in Brentwood, Tennessee.

After graduating from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Dr. Crosby earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Tennessee. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by a hand and upper extremity fellowship at Harvard University. Dr. Crosby’s work experience includes Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital.

At Brentwood Surgery Center, Dr. Crosby specializes in treating sports-related injuries, arthroscopic shoulder surgery, nerve compression syndrome, congenital hand deformities, adult and pediatric fractures, arthritis, joint replacement, Dupuytren’s contracture, trigger fingers, ganglion cysts, and work-related injuries.

Dr. Crosby is board certified and has an additional subspecialty certificate in orthopedic surgery of the hand, issued by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
